5 Facebook Groups to help you learn French
Hi folks! Bonjour à tous !
I don't know about you, but I always have Facebook open, in the background, whatever I'm doing on my computer... Over a few years only, it has become such an omnipresent and powerful tool, not just to keep in touch and share with your friends, family and acquaintances, but also with strangers who share the same interest as yours! Facebook has expanded into a myriad of groups and pages and those are certainly the best of tools. I highly recommend joining groups to practice and learn more French, and today, I want to share with you 5 Facebook groups:
Free is the word here. You can chat with other members, ask questions and share any free (non-promotional) picture that is on topic. The community is ever-growing and makes for a great place to hang around and practice your French.
French Learners gather a community of over 300 French students and enthusiasts. Open to all, the group allows self-promotion when it is useful for the students, and members regularly share articles and tips about French. A nice place for a friendly chat.
A group composed of Duolinguo French learners. The 5000 + members are very active and share a lot of grammar, conjugation and syntax tips which makes the group a joyous place for free learning and exchange.
Though not typically French, the Language exchange group is a great place to look for someone to train with. You can also trade a language you talk against a language you wish to practice, promote your blog, podcast or else. I discovered it very recently but love the engagement rate, the friendliness of its members and the opportunities to learn.
I recently created a platform to use as a daily practice group. The community is still very small but the engagement is good. Anyone can join in for a chat or ask their questions about French. Note: I don't promote the blog / course or anything on the group. I simply wanted a place where my friends can practice and get help from each other. I'd be delighted to count you in!
